About Holy Spirit Catholic School

Our mission is to provide a well-rounded preschool through 8th grade education that is grounded in our Catholic Tradition, imbued with a love of learning, committed to developing each individual's gifts, directed toward responsible citizenship and fostered with charity and justice in a caring Christian community.

For over 85 years, Holy Spirit School has been guided by the principles of faith, knowledge, and service. The school was founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet.

Accredited by the Minnesota Non-Public School Accrediting Association, Holy Spirit School is also a member of the Minnesota Independent School Forum and the National Catholic Educational Association.


ENROLLMENT AND CLASS SIZE

In the 2022–2023 school year, Holy Spirit had approximately 250 students enrolled in Preschool through 8th grade.


STUDENT BODY DIVERSITY

Holy Spirit recognizes that diversity is an asset that strengthens the ultimate purpose of education by encouraging academic achievement, fostering the essential virtue of respect, and preparing students to live and work in a global society. Holy Spirit has a diversity rate of 15%.


FINANCIAL AID

Holy Spirit provides education grants to parishioner families in need of financial support. Families apply for assistance through Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS). In addition to the investment that Holy Spirit Parish provides to each student (approximately $1,400) Holy Spirit awards over $90,000 in financial aid annually to families.
