Art is a creative and essential part of students’ lives. Students express themselves through many media and styles while learning the elements of art and principles of design.

Students attend music classes twice a week and have one concert. Instruction includes singing, music history, technical elements, movement, exploration, and composition.

In addition to daily recess times, students take physical education twice a week. Through physical education students build strong bodies, athletic skills, and teamwork skills.

Students regularly interact with our media specialist to choose new reading material, learn about coding and digital citizenship, and develop their media and research skills.

Studies show time and time again about the positive effects language learning and multilingualism has on the developing mind. Spanish is taught to grades 6-8.

Students in grades 4-8 have the opportunity to partipcate in band through Encore Ensembles. Band is held during the school day. Band is optional and requires an additional investment.
