2027 Production

Students in grades 4–8 are invited to participate in the 2027 theater production, What’s up, Zak? The show is based on the Biblical stories of Luke 18–19. It retells the encounter Jesus had with Zacchaeus, the chief tax collector who “climbed a sycamore tree to see what he could see.”

Auditions are on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 1–3 p.m. Please bring a completed audition form. There is a cast/crew/parent meeting on Saturday, Nov. 14 from 1–1:30 p.m. in the Commons. All students who want to be involved should stay from 1:30–3:30 p.m.

Rehearsals are Saturdays, Nov. 7-Jan. 30. Tech Week starts Sunday, Jan. 31. Performances are Feb. 5–7.

The participation fee for all students committed to the production is $100. This helps subsidize the cost of the production. All fees will be billed to Blackbaud. Scholarships are available. Additional costs may include $30 for a personal make up kit (optional for cast) and $20 for a Holy Spirit Theatre shirt (optional for cast & crew and available on a first come, first serve basis).

Read the Theatre Handbook for more details.
